Duo italiano considerato tra i pionieri dello “Stencil Graffiti”, realizzano il primo stencil in strada a Roma dal 2001 in un periodo nel quale questa tecnica è pressoché sconosciuta e inutilizzata come forma d’arte urbana. Il duo è noto in ambito internazionale per aver introdotto, a partire dal 2002, l’utilizzo della mezzatinta nello stencil. L’elaborazione grafica, da loro chiamata Hole School, consiste nel ritagliare un’immagine composta di punti o linee: un ritratto appare così realistico da lontano, astratto da vicino. Nel 2008, Banksy li invita a partecipare al Cans Festival a Londra assieme ad un gruppo di artisti specializzati ne lo “Stencil Graffiti”.          
Dopo aver usato per anni come media sia lo stencil che il poster il duo crea un processo che chiama Stencil Poster. Il processo consiste nell’affissione di un manifesto composto di linee o punti poi ritagliato a mano sul muro stesso sul quale è applicato. Questa matrice di carta viene quindi dipinta di nero ed infine distrutta per dare spazio all’opera finale. Il concetto alla base di questo processo è che gli agenti atmosferici, la pioggia e il vento distruggano lentamente nel tempo la matrice svelando l’opera finale man mano che la matrice si dissolve. Il significato essenziale dello “stencil" che viene considerato una tecnica per riprodurre una stessa immagine più volte, viene così portato al paradosso: distruggendo la matrice, parte anch’essa dell’opera, viene meno la sua riproducibilità.
Il duo è sempre più presente nella scena artistica internazionale destreggiandosi tra opere urbane nelle capitali di tutto il mondo e mostre personali nelle più prestigiose gallerie.

After years of using both stencil and poster as media the duo creates another way to make art calls Stencil Poster. The process consists in affixing a poster made up of lines or points then cut by hand on the same wall on which it is applied. The concept behind this process is that weather, rain and wind slowly destroy the matrix over time, revealing the final work as the matrix dissolves.
